Fat Camp Friday #41: Blunders and a Stand Mixer
This is not usually like me. Normally, I have my Friday posts done a couple of days early so I have nothing to worry about. I actually had a couple of recipes I wanted to post. I started out with a scone recipe – turns out I didn’t like how my second batch came out and I decided to sit on it until I had a recipe I wanted to roll out.
Then I decided I would just blog Thursday night’s dinner. Cutting it close right? Good old, heart warming, chicken pot pie. Yes. But it just so happens that last night was not my night and dinner turned into more of a “Kitchen Blunders” post. Oh yeah, you just wait. It’s coming. So, with that being said, I threw my hands in the air and decided that it just was not my week. Culinary Gods, you win.
But, I can’t let them or my foul mood get me down completely, because on a happy note – look at what I got this week!
That should keep my spirit high, don’t ya think? So, on that note, please, please just link up. Make me feel better will ya?
Welcome to Fat Camp Friday! If you are new to this linky, glad you could make it! If you are a regular, great to see you back!

Oh yeah, we all have those kitchen disasters. But that’s a mighty fine mixer to take your mind off things! Thanks for hosting.
Thanks for linking up Vicki, have a great weekend!
I have weeks like that too! That is one gorgeous mixer. So jealous!
Gotta love weeks like this!
Ha! That was me Wednesday night. Everything I cooked came out terrible. And, of course all I wanted was my reheated pesto pizza I made the night before and it burned on the grill. Cheers to a better week/day
Thanks for the stories I can relate to Michelle! Enjoy your weekend.
That mixer is a beauty!!
Thanks Heather!
That mixer is awesome! You will never have to buy another one. This week I have linked up Buttery Herbed Chicken, Strawberry Pound Cake, Citrus Blueberry Muffins, and Easy Granola Bars. Thanks for hosting!

Beauty… classic in the chrome… I would jump on the gaudy red one!!!
And we are all set with our link ups (I believe)!
I love the red one! Not gaudy at all. I would have gone for the pink Susan G. Komen, had they had it in the store! Thanks for linking.
Oh goodness, Miranda; so true that when it rains, it pours. I was in that same place this week, only with work and not in the kitchen AT ALL, in fact. No time to cook and I hate that! So happy about that awesome toy that you just got! Woo Hoo! Here’s some more good news: Your lovely Cranberry Chicken Salad that you kindly shared last week is FEATURED today on Fresh Food Friday. I haven’t had a moment to read any of today’s recipes that were linked up cuz of work (again), so I hope that you’ll stop by and link up a recipe, if you haven’t already! See ya! Have fun with that mixer!
Thank you so much for stopping by, AND for the feature! Try not to work too hard Roz!
