Fat Camp Friday #24: Almost Famous Garlic Noodles
Do you recognize these noodles? You should if you frequent PF Chang’s China Bistro. Garlic noodles. They come as an optional side item and I recommend getting them every time, because they are delicious. Good news is, I now know how to make them at home.
If you haven’t had these before, they boast a tanginess with a hint of sweetness and even some heat. All of these flavors blend together for culinary goodness. Toss in a few cucumbers for a little freshness and you’ve got a killer side dish to any asian meal. Heck, I would eat these sans main dish.
Why “Almost Famous“? Food Network Magazine does an Almost Famous feature every month where they take famous restaurant recipes and make the copycat version. I just copied their feature.
3 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
Wash cucumber. Slice diagonally into 1/4″ thick slices. Slice into strips. Set aside.
