Fat Camp Friday #3: Chocked Full-O Candy Blizzard

November 5, 2010
Want a quick way to get rid of your leftover halloween candy and still make the kids happy? Try this quick and easy treat. This started out as just an innocent Chick-fil-A milkshake – it had no idea what was in store. Actually, I didn’t either.

Pick up either a chocolate or vanilla shake from your nearest fast food joint, and try to make it home without drinking half of it. I was not quite so successful. Gather up whatever halloween candy you want to include in your blizzard treat: about 5 mini bars and some m&m;’s. More or less depending on how you like it and the size of your shake.

Dice your candy into small bite size squares.
Toss about 3/4 of the candy into the milkshake and mix. Top with remaining pieces.
Toss the straw, you won’t need that anymore – just grab a spoon and dig in. If it has melted slightly and you want it a little firmer, just toss it into the freezer until you reach the desired frozen consistency. Of course, you can also make this if you have ice cream and milk lying around.
